For over 30 years the AGC of Michigan has provided an avenue for  member companies to invest in high-potential early- to mid-career employees and help strengthen and support the Michigan construction industry. The Future Construction Leaders of Michigan (FCLM) program enables participants to:

Build a network

​This 12-month tailored program builds and strengthens a network of industry professionals while building leadership skills.

​Identify new resources
​
Discover AGC Michigan and AGC of America resources to benefit the individual, the organization, and the industry.​

Help resolve current issues

​Identify topics of interest/concern and work together to find resources to address the issues.

Format

Includes:

• Four full days of customized educational content addressing specific needs/current topics as developed by participants.
• Attendance at AGC of Michigan Annual meetings for program kick-off and completion.

​Plus participation in:

• industry awareness event(s)
• industry related fundraising event(s)
• site tour(s)
• AGC Michigan NextGen Leaders Forum events(s)
• AGC Michigan standing committee meeting(s)
• development of group educational content

And, 

• NextGen Leaders Forum (NLF) membership.

Time commitment
This program requires a commitment of 48 - 60 hours spread out over the year-long program.

​Cohort demographics
Early- to mid-career employees serving all areas of the construction industry (GC’s, subcontractors, suppliers, professional service providers, etc.) are selected to participate providing a well-rounded networking and educational experience. Program is limited to 24 participants.

Registration opens October 2025 for the 2026-27 program.

$1600/participant (AGC Michigan members only)
