AGC of Michigan provides students with variety of opportunities to learn, observe and develop their skills with current leaders in the industry. Through partnerships with universities, educational and networking events, intern opportunities, and scholarship support, AGC Michigan is helping develop the next generation of leaders for Michigan's construction industry.

Summer Work Program

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
​Designed exclusively for Michigan construction contractors, this cooperative program between the AGC Construction Industry Advancement Program and Michigan colleges and universities provides construction work experience for undergraduate students. Contractors have the opportunity to hire Civil Engineering and Construction Management Sophomores and Juniors from accredited Michigan Universities.

Terms: Students will earn $550/week salary + $800 for tuition in fellowship from the employer + $800 for tuition in fellowship from the AGC CIAP. This equates to over $17.00/ hour for up to twelve weeks. Students also gain the benefit of great industry experience.

Students interested in participating in the Summer Work Program need to complete and submit an application. Students who complete the following application, and are hired as a result of this application, agree to  the terms of the program provided above.

AGC Educational Endowment Fund Scholarship Program

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The AGC of Michigan Educational Endowment Scholarship program has been providing undergraduate scholarships for students pursuing construction management or civil engineering degree at accredited Michigan universities since 1984.

•        Need money for school?
•        Sophomore or Junior in college?
•        Attend a Michigan university?
•        Major in Construction Management of Civil Engineering?

You can earn $3,500 or more toward tuition and books, for a small investment of your time.

​Membership in an AGC Student Chapter provides young professionals with an opportunity to observe and develop their skills with current industry leaders. AGC of Michigan supports six Student Chapters.

​Student Chapters exist at accredited (ACCE or ABET) two- and four-year schools offering programs in construction management, construction technology, and construction-related engineering.

As a student chapter affiliated and active with AGC Michigan, and recognized by AGC of America, the AGC Michigan Educational Endowment Fund (EEF) seeks to provide scholarships, grants, and other financial aid to assist chapters and student members in pursuing college, university, technical and other education and training relating to architectural, engineering, and/or construction.
