Safety & Health Training Support for Construction

Safety Training

As any contractor knows, managing your projects for production is important, but it is also extremely important to manage your project for safety.  By proactively managing the hazards that are part of the building process, a contractor sets himself ahead of his competition.

The Safety & Health Training Support for Construction program provides onsite training, advanced training, regional public forums and outreach to new personnel.
Onsite Training
Schedule your safety or health training for your jobsite or your office. The topics and length of training are customized to your needs. The training is set up to provide interaction between the trainer and attendees. This method of training gets the class more involved and provides a more effective result.
Training Locations
@ your jobsite office/trailer
@ your company office
@ a nearby meeting facility
Minimum Group Size
> in a group setting (6+)
> individual basis at the AGC office
Training Minimums

Advanced Safety & Health Training
Advanced training will include training on scaffold safety, confined space entry, fall protection and steel erection.  The advanced training session will be offered in a public forum at various locations around the state.

Regional Public Forums for New MIOSHA Standards
This outreach service will include regional public forums to alert the construction industry of any new changes in MIOSHA's safety & health regulation and educate the industry on what needs to be done to comply.

Outreach Forum for New Personnel
This special outreach forum for new construction managers and apprentice workers will focus on the value and importance of safety in the construction environment.
