Membership in an AGC's student chapter provides young professionals with an opportunity to learn, observe and develop their skills with current leaders in the industry. AGC of America, in conjunction with local chapters, supports nearly 200 student chapters nationwide, eight of them in Michigan.
Student Chapters exist at accredited two- and four-year schools offering programs in construction management, construction tech, and construction-related engineering. Schools must be accredited by ABET, Inc. or the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).
- ABET, Inc., accredits more than 3,000 programs at more than 600 colleges and universities worldwide. More information and a complete list of accredited programs can be found on the ABET website.
- ACCE accredits construction education programs in colleges and universities that request its evaluation and meet its standards and criteria. More information and a complete list of accredited programs can be found on the ACCE website.
