Lien Act Corrections

• Final Lien Corrections Bill

On June 28, 2007 Governor Granholm signed into law the Lien Act corrections bill that AGC initiated to make needed changes related to sworn statements and lien waivers. The law corrects amendments made in 2006 intended only for residential construction that inadvertently but significantly impacted the commercial construction industry.  [SB487]
