Friday morning’s educational programs will feature AGC of America President, J. Doug Pruitt, who will present “Daring the Industry to Embrace Change”. Also featured will be “Platinum Makes Perfect”, a presentation on the world’s first Dual Platinum LEED Certified Building. Saturday morning your participation is requested in a public engagement campaign to ignite a movement for change in Michigan by The Center for Michigan.

NASA Award Luncheon
The winners in the 2008 National AGC Safety Award (NASA) program have been selected and will be presented with an award at the midyear Safety Award luncheon on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. It will be held at the Operating Engineers 324 JATF Center, Howell, in conjunction with the Safety & Health Committee meeting beginning at 10:00 am. Members are welcomed to join us for this meeting. CLC Shoe Drive to
Benefit Soles4Souls™

Every 13 seconds, Soles4Souls Inc. gives away another pair of shoes to someone in need. The AGC of Michigan Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has begun a shoe drive to assist them.
